NewJeans is making history as the first K-pop girl group to be featured on ABC’s New Year’s special show in the US.

On December 14, ADOR announced that the group will be appearing on ABC’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024 at the end of this month.

New Year’s Rockin’ Eve is an iconic American New Year’s special program. This year, it’s celebrating its 52nd anniversary. The show starts on the evening of December 31st and goes all the way until dawn on New Year’s Day.

It features amazing performances by the top singers of the year, and of course, the famous New Year’s countdown event in Times Square, New York.

NewJeans will be performing on a huge stage alongside Post Malone and Ivy Queen. They’ll be showcasing their amazing songs ‘Super Shy’ and ‘ETA’.

NewJeans will be the fifth K-pop artist and the first girl group to perform at a global New Year event, just like PSY, BTS, J-Hope (BTS), and TOMORROW BY TOGETHER. They’ve already made a big impression at Lollapalooza Chicago and the Billboard Music Awards in the United States.
