P1Harmony, a K-pop group formed and managed by FNC Entertainment, will attend the US Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, becoming the first K-pop artist to be invited.

On May 16, it was announced that P1Harmony is set to make history as the first K-pop group to grace the red carpet at the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards, held at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas.

It is certainly a groundbreaking moment for the group, as they become the first K-pop act to be invited to the prestigious ACM Awards and walk the iconic red carpet.

The ACM Awards is a long-running and prestigious country music award show that’s been recognizing the industry’s best since 1966. It’s quite a huge event in the US, with millions of viewers tuning in each year – 7.7 million in 2023 alone.

This year’s ACM Awards will feature a star-studded lineup, with performances by Jelly Roll, Post Malone, Jason Aldean, and more. Plus, Avril Lavigne will take the stage for a special collaboration. In a historic first, K-pop group P1Harmony will join the lineup.

In other news, P1Harmony is currently on their second world tour, P1ustage H: UTOP1A. In addition, they made history by becoming the first K-pop boy group to be announced as performers at the prestigious Governors Ball Music Festival 2024 in New York, USA, scheduled for June 8.
