Park Bo Young and Ahn Jae Hong to Host the Opening Ceremony of the 29th Busan International Film Festival

The 29th Busan International Film Festival just got a whole lot more exciting!

Actors Park Bo Young and Ahn Jae-hong will co-host the opening ceremony. The BIFF 2024 opening ceremony is scheduled to take place on October 2 at the Busan Cinema Center Outdoor Theater.

Park Bo Young debuted as an actor in Secret Campus in 2006. Since then, she has been a part of many hit dramas and movies including Strong Girl Bong-Soon (2017), Abyss (2019), Doom At Your Service (2021), Daily Dose of Sunshine (2023), Concrete Utopia (2023), and more.

She recently won the Best Actress award at the Baeksang Art Awards for her role in Daily Dose of Sunshine. Park Bo Young is currently filming for Netflix drama Melo Movie with Choi Woo Shik and in talks to lead another drama Unknown Seoul.

On the other hand, Ahn Jae Hong rose to fame with his memorable roles in The Legend of the Blue Sea (2016-2017), Fight for My Way (2017), Time to Hunt (2020), Mask Girl (2023), Rebound (2023), Chicken Nugget (2024), and more.

BIFF 2024 will run for ten days, from Wednesday, October 2, to Friday, October 11, with all events held at the Busan Cinema Center, starting with the opening ceremony on October 2.
