Park Min Young is no stranger to playing complex and dynamic characters, but her latest role in Confidence Man KR takes her acting chops to a whole new level.
On July 27, the Marry My Husband actress talked about the unconventional character she is about to play at 2024 KCON LA.
She was there for a special fanmeet and as M Countdown Special MC. During an interview at the KCON LA 2024, Park Min Young personally confirmed her appearance in the upcoming drama, Confidence Man KR.
Talking about the character, she said, “I am working on the new project now, the character I play is completely different from my previous characters.”
Park Min Young described her character in Confidence Man KR as a ‘bit crazy, wild, and rough.’
Previously, she gained recognition for her role as Kang Jiwon in the drama Marry My Husband opposite Na In Woo and Song Ha Yoon.
Confidence Man KR, a remake of the Japanese hit series Confidence Man JP, explores the cunning methods used by three charismatic con artists to exploit individuals obsessed with wealth and desire.
So far, it has been reported that Park Min Young, Park Hee Soon, and Joo Jong Hyuk have joined the cast.
On another note, 2024 KCON LA is being held at crypto.com Arena in LA, with Jeon Somi, Rowoon, and Kim Soo Hyun as MCs.
