Park Min Young In Talks to Star in Korean Remake of Japanese Drama ‘The Confidence Man JP’

After the success of her last drama Marry My Husband, fans were eagerly awaiting what her next project would be.

On July 23, her agency, Hook Entertainment revealed that the 38-year-old actress is reviewing an offer of appearance in The Confidence Man KR.

The remake of a hit Japanese drama The Confidence Man JP, The Confidence Man KR, is a comedy-drama that follows three skilled con artists as they cleverly deceive and swindle large sums of money from greedy individuals using elaborate and outrageous schemes.

The Korean version The Confidence Man KR is led by director Nam Ki Hoon (Destined with You, Big Bet, The Beauty Inside) and writer Hong Seung Hyun (Hot Blood, Cheo Yong).

In the tvN drama Marry My Husband, aired in January, Park Min Young garnered praise for her portrayal of Kang Jiwon, a woman who travels back in time to exact revenge on her unfaithful husband and treacherous best friend.

Park Min Young has proven her unmated acting skills in numerous hit Kdramas including Healer (2014-2015), What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim? (2018), Forecasting Love and Weather (2022), and Love in Contract (2022).
