Singer and actor Rain is set to join the cast of Bloodhounds 2, taking on the role of the villain for the first time.

Following the success of the first season, which starred Woo Do Hwan, Lee Sang Yi, Choi Siwon and Park Sung-woong, the upcoming season is shaping up to be just as action-packed and intense.

With Rain on board as the main antagonist, fans can expect even more drama and suspense in Bloodhounds 2.

As reported by Star News on June 4, the 41-year-old actor has landed a role of a villian in the popular series.

Baek Jung, a towering figure with an intimidating physique, once ruled the UFC cage as ‘Emperor’. Now, he’s turned to the dark side, overseeing an illicit high-end boxing league with a staggering 2 million global members. He entices two young men into the ring with the promise of a hefty payday.

Rain has been in a bunch of movies and shows since he started in 2002, but Bloodhounds 2 marks his debut as a villain. Fans are curious to see if he can pull off this new acting challenge with his unique style.

Bloodhounds, which came out in June last year follows the story of Geon-woo (played by Woo Do Hwan) and Woo-jin (portrayed by Lee Sang Yi). They get caught up in the gritty world of private loans, where money holds more sway than human life. Together, they fight against a powerful evil force, struggling to stay alive in a dangerous battle.

Bloodhounds 2 is set to start filming in the latter part of this year once the casting process wraps up.

In other news, Rain is set to star in the Disney+ original series Red Swan, premiering on July 3rd.
