While ReVeluvs are disappointed that there are not going to be any Red Velvet releases this year, member Wendy has announced her first-ever solo world tour, W:EALIVE.

On August 15, her new agency, ASND, dropped the tour poster for her debut world tour, W:EALIVE, on social media.

The tour will take place after her solo comeback, which ASND has confirmed is scheduled for September. This year has been full of changes for Wendy, most notably her exit from SM Entertainment, where she had been since debuting with Red Velvet in 2014.

After signing with ASND in April, the 31-year-old idol is focusing on solo projects. After 11 years, she will embark on a solo world tour, W:EALIVE, and meet fans all over the world.

According to the announcement poster, Wendy’s W:EALIVE world tour will kick off with two shows at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul’s Jung-gu district:

As of now, ASND has only announced the schedule for Seoul stops, but the W:EALIVE tour will expand to multiple international cities. Fans can expect additional dates and locations to be revealed in the coming weeks as part of Wendy’s global promotions.

Ticket Information

Details on ticket sales for the Seoul dates will be released through official channels soon. Tickets will likely open by the end of this month. More ticketing details will follow in the coming days along with the announcement of new stops.

Album Release and Second Half 2025 Activities

Wendy will be especially active in the latter half of 2025. Alongside the world tour, she will release a new solo album in September, adding to the excitement surrounding her comeback. This period will include:

Notably, this will be Wendy’s first solo comeback in 1.5 years after the release of 2nd EP, Wish You Hell. In November last year, she collaborated with BTS Jin on his debut album, Happy, on the much-loved song, Heart on the Window.
