Rocket Punch Reorganizes as a 5-member Group Following Juri’s Exit

Juri from Rocket Punch

K-pop group Rocket Punch has announced that member Juri will be leaving the group to pursue new opportunities.

While fans are sad to see her go, the remaining five members – Yeonhe, Jisook, Suyun, Yunkyoung, and Sohee – are continuing group activities.

On May 23, Woollim Entertainment announced the news of Juri’s departure, stating, “Rocket Punch member Juri who has been with us for the past time, is a foreign member and has a different contract period with the members. As of today (May 24), she has terminated her management contract with us.”

The agency further shared, “Woollim Entertainment will continue to provide support and encouragement to JURI, who will greet her in various fields, and we ask you to give her generous love and support.”

They announced that Rocket Punch will be active as a 5-member group.

Juri, a talented artist originally from Japan, is a former member of AKB48. She gained recognition among Korean fans through her participation in Mnet’s ‘Produce 48’ in 2018. She later made her Korean debut in 2019 as a member of Rocket Punch.
