The K-pop and pop crossover success of ‘APT.’ shows no signs of slowing down. BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’ collaboration has now spent two weeks in the Billboard HOT 100’s top 15.
As per the latest chart (dated Nov. 9) released on November 5 (KST), “APT.” by Rosé and Bruno Mars settled at #13 after debuting at #8 on Billboard HOT 100 last week.
Moreover, it managed to top spot on this week’s Billboard Global 200 and Global 200 (excl. US).
Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT” shatters records, becoming the first song to surpass 200 million streams in its second week. With its historic debut at No. 8 on the HOT 100 chart, where the “Gone” singer set a new record as the highest-charting K-pop female artist.
“APT.” soared to #2 on the UK Official Singles Chart, up from its debut at #4 last week, securing the highest chart position ever for a female K-pop artist.
Rosé dropped “APT” on Oct 18 as a pre-release single, ahead of her solo album “rosie” (Dec 6). This upbeat pop-punk track is inspired by Korea’s popular “apartment game” and features a catchy chorus.
