Samsung recently shared new posts featuring BTS member Suga (Min Yoongi), effectively putting to rest any rumors about his ambassadorship status.
The Snooze rapper will continue to represent Samsung Electronics as an advertising model despite recent rumors suggesting his contract would be terminated.
The rumors of him not being a Samsung ambassador were fueled by the recent drunk driving incident. However, Samsung’s overseas branches have cleared the air by posting new advertisements featuring Suga.
On August 31, Samsung Electronics Paraguay posted an ad on social media platform “X” featuring Suga, a member of BTS, using a Samsung projector.
The ad received a positive response from international BTS fans, who expressed their support and promised to purchase Samsung products.
This comes after Suga was involved in a recent incident where he was stopped by police for riding an electric scooter while intoxicated in Seoul, with a blood alcohol level of 0.227%, exceeding the legal limit.
Suga is currently fulfilling his mandatory social service duties and is expected to be discharged in June of next year.
