The highly-anticipated SBS Drama Awards and SBS Entertainment Awards are around the corner!
Although officials have yet to confirm the schedule, insiders suggest that the ceremonies will take place in late December.
On November 14, SPOTV News exclusively reported that the SBS Drama Awards 2024 will be held on December 21.
This year’s SBS Drama Awards will take place on December 21, eight days earlier than last year’s ceremony. Breaking away from the traditional December 31st date, the event will announce its winners before Christmas.
The SBS Drama Awards has adjusted its date to avoid conflicting with the KBS Drama Awards on December 31, 2024.
With SBS dramas achieving remarkable success this year, all eyes are on the Grand Prize winner. The network lineup has consistently delivered hits including “Good Partner,” “Flex x Cop,” “Connection,” “Fiery Priest 2,” and “The Judge From Hell.”

Traditionally, December 31 belonged to the SBS Drama Awards, but with last year’s shift to December 29th and this year’s move to December 21st, the Entertainment Awards have claimed the coveted New Year’s Eve spot.
This year’s grand prize is up for grabs, with several popular programs vying for the top honor. Long-running favorites like ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny’, ‘My Little Old Boy’, and ‘Running Man’ continue to captivate audiences.
Newcomer ‘Kick a Goal’ has also gained traction, while ‘Whenever Possible’ has successfully returned for its second season, thanks to the dynamic duo of Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Yeon Seok.
