Seo Ji Hye is about to shake things up as the ultimate ex-girlfriend!
The 40-year-old actress is set to make a special appearance in the romantic comedy-drama Love Next Door, playing the role of Jung Hae In’s ex-girlfriend.
As reported by Joy News, Seo Ji Hye has been cast as Jang Tae Hee, the ex-girlfriend of Jung Hae In’s character Choi Seung Hyo, in the tvN drama Love Next Door.
As per reports, she has already filmed her scenes with the cast. Actresses Lee Bong Ryun and Roh Yoon Seo are also set to make cameos in the drama.
Notably, Seo Ji Hye and Jung Hae In previously collaborated on the 2016 SBS drama, Yeah, That’s How It Is. With this cameo, they will be reuniting for the first time in 8 years.
The drama Love Next Door has won viewers’ hearts with its mix of laughter, excitement, and warmth. The lead actors, Jung Hae In and Jung So Min have great chemistry as childhood friends who fall in love. Their bickering and playful interactions have been especially popular.
The show has done very well in just two episodes. It ranked second on the TV-OTT chart for the third week of August. On Netflix, it reached fifth place in the non-English series category within two days of its release. It had 1.1 million viewers and 2.7 million viewing hours from August 12 to August 18.
Love Next Door began premiering on tvN on August 17, and new episodes come out every Saturday and Sunday.
