SEVENTEEN’s Joshua Makes First Super Bowl Appearance in the U.S.

Joshua of SEVENTEEN at Super Bowl 2026

SEVENTEEN member Joshua turned heads after being spotted at Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California. The 30-year-old Korean-American idol joined a crowd packed with some of the world’s biggest celebrities. Lately, he has been appearing at high-profile events to expand his presence in the U.S. entertainment scene.

The Super Bowl marked a special moment for Joshua, who was born and raised in Los Angeles. It was his first time attending the NFL championship game, where the New England Patriots faced off against the Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium. In a short video from the event, Joshua shared his excitement, saying simply, “I’m so excited to be here.”

He was seen mingling among A-list names such as Jay-Z, Bad Bunny—who also headlined the halftime show—along with Adam Sandler, Jon Bon Jovi, and celebrity couple Justin and Hailey Bieber. Other celebrities in attendance were Travis Scott, Kendall Jenner, MrBeast, Odessa A’zion, and Roger Federer.

Joshua’s Super Bowl appearance follows several notable outings over the past month.

In January, he made history by becoming the first male K-pop idol to attend the Golden Globe Awards. He walked the red carpet as a Lexus brand ambassador and spoke openly about wanting to explore acting. He shared that he would like to try a role in a comedy sitcom in the future.

At the same event, Joshua commented on the success of Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters. He said projects like it are helping Korean artists gain more opportunities in Hollywood. Later in the month, he attended Prada’s new store opening in Hong Kong.

For those unversed, Joshua has signed with a major acting agency, UTA, which represents top Hollywood stars.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is currently on a short break from their New_ world tour, which followed their 2025 album Happy Burstday. The tour is set to resume later this month with concerts in China.

Meanwhile, unit activities are keeping fans busy. Members DK and SEUNGKWAN released a joint mini-album titled Serenade in January, which received warm reactions from fans.
