After Jeonghan x Wonwoo and BSS, SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi and Woozi will drop a unit release.
Hoshi and Woozi team up as a unit and gear up for their debut release. The duo’s first single, “BEAM,” is slated to hit major music streaming sites on March 10. Ahead of the drop, they have shared a concept teaser on SEVENTEEN’s official social media platforms, giving fans a sneak peek of what’s to come.
Since they will enlist in the military this year, this single is a special gift ahead of their enlistment. SEVENTEEN’s BSS kicked off the year with the release of “TELEPARTY” last month. The group concluded their world tour “Right Here” on February 16, attracting a total of 1.03 million fans.
Before 96’ liner members enlist, they will hold their annual fanmeeting “SEVENTEEN in Carat Land” on March 20 and 21.
Coming back to the single, the dramatic logo reveal and contrasting light and dark visuals set the tone for something exciting. At the end, the release date is revealed, and it is clear that Hoshi and Woozi’s new project is going to be big. The title “Beam” represents the light that shines from their hard work and dedication, from their trainee days to becoming a top K-pop group.
Hoshi and Woozi are reuniting as a unit for the first time in about 8 years. The duo previously wowed fans with their iconic duet “Shoot Me and Go” in 2017.
SEVENTEEN has a history of successful special units, including BSS and Jeonghan X Wonwoo, so expectations are high for their upcoming single.
Mark your calendar for March 10 when Woozi and Hoshi drop their new single “Beam”.
