Fans will be seeing Mingyu bringing his fashion A-game to Dior events in the future as a global ambassador.
On July 26, Mingyu joined BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and BTS’ Jimin as the new global ambassador for the French luxury label, Dior.
This marks his second major endorsement deal this year, after being selected as an ambassador for Bulgari.
Following Cha Eunwoo’s departure from Dior, where he previously served as global ambassador, the SEVENTEEN rapper has been appointed as the new face of the luxury brand.
Cha Eunwoo has since signed with Saint Laurent, and Mingyu is set to fill the vacancy and represent Dior as its latest global ambassador.
Mingyu dazzled at the Dior Paris Fashion Week show along with Jisoo in February. A sea of fans flocked to the venue to get a glimpse of the K-pop stars.
Despite being surrounded by a large crowd of excited fans, he remained calm and greeted them with a warm smile.
He is already serving as a brand ambassador for L’Occitane, Bulgari, Innisfree, and more.
