SEVENTEEN took MAMA Awards 2023 by storm by delivering an energetic performance to the God of Music. Not only that, the group won three awards including Daesang (Grand Prize) and Bonsang (Major Prize).
SEVENTEEN won in the Album of the Year category (Daesang) for their hit album FML and was recognized as Best Male Group and Worldwide Fans’ Choice.
SEVENTEEN’s members were incredibly moved and emotional during their acceptance speech at the MAMA Awards.
Seungkwan’s heartfelt acknowledgment of Moonbin during the acceptance speech at the MAMA Awards brought tears to the eyes of everyone in attendance and touched the hearts of viewers worldwide.
During the speech, Seungkwan said, “I don’t know if I can say this or not, but this year has been really eventful.” Further, he added, “Someone who really loved our team, My friend Bin, thank you so much.”
Seungkwan’s acceptance speech at the MAMA Awards was filled with poignant pauses and visible emotions as he struggled to hold back tears. It was evident that talking about his dear friend Moonbin, who is no longer with us, was incredibly difficult for him.
After the passing of Moonbin, Seungkwan paid a heartfelt tribute to his dear friend by saying, “Even in our next lives, you’re my friend”.
