Shin Eun Soo and Yoo Seon Ho, both 23, have officially confirmed that they are in a romantic relationship.
On January 29, Shin’s agency, Management SOOP, confirmed the news to Dispatch, saying, “It is true that Shin Eun Soo and Yoo Seon Ho are dating.” Yoo’s agency also verified the relationship, explaining that the two “developed a relationship naturally through gatherings with acquaintances.”
According to their agencies, the couple met late last year at a gathering of mutual acquaintances. Their friendship naturally grew into romance, and they have been dating for approximately three months. Despite being prominent young stars in the same industry, Shin and Yoo had no prior professional overlap.
They had never worked together on a drama, film, or variety show. Sources close to the couple describe them as a “sweet and youthful couple” who enjoy simple, everyday dates like any other couple in their 20s.
Shin Eun Soo began her career as a trainee at JYP Entertainment at age 12, initially training in both singing and acting before focusing on acting. She made her acting debut in the 2016 fantasy film Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned, where she was selected from 300 audition candidates.
She later gained recognition for playing the younger version of Jun Ji Hyun’s character in the popular drama The Legend of the Blue Sea. Since then, she has appeared in several projects, including Twinkling Watermelon, Light Shop, and the Netflix romantic film Love Untangled.
Yoo Seon Ho first rose to fame as a Cube Entertainment trainee on the survival show Produce 101 Season 2 in 2017. Since then, he acted in dramas such as Under the Queen’s Umbrella and The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract from 2023 to 2024.
Yoo is also a familiar face on variety television and currently appears as a fixed cast member on 2 Days & 1 Night Season 4 and on the sports variety program Run to Live 2. In addition, he made his solo music debut in 2018 with the EP Spring, Seonho, and its title track “Maybe Spring.”
On the work front, Shin Eun Soo, under her new agency Management Soop since March 2025, is expected to take on more diverse acting projects. Yoo Seon Ho will appear in a supporting role in Boyfriend on Demand, starring Jisoo of BLACKPINK.
