Good news for fans of the hit drama “Mr. Queen.” The show’s stars, Shin Hye Sun and Na In Woo, are reuniting for a new project.
On February 11, Netflix announced that the duo will lead the romantic comedy series “Love O’Clock” (previously known as 1/24 Romance). The show, based on the popular Kakao Webtoon, tells the story of two very different people who suddenly begin swapping bodies for one hour each day.
Shin Hye Sun (Dear Hyeri, The Art of Sarah) will play Cha Joo An, a hard-working and chaotic variety show producer. Cha often puts her work ahead of her own happiness. Na In Woo (Marry My Husband, Motel California) takes on the role of Yoo Do Jin, a successful but overly organized professional tennis player. Their lives are turned upside down by this strange daily body swap.
Alongside the two leads, the cast includes actors Yoon Kyun Sang and Lee Joo Woo. They will play the close friend of the male lead and the best friend of the female lead.
Yoon Kyun Sang plays Ko Tae Hoon, an agency director and close friend of Yoo Do Jin, who is warm but keeps his feelings to himself. He becomes involved with Choi Mi Hyang, played by Lee Joo Woo, who is Cha Joo An’s best friend and fellow variety show writer. Choi Mi Hyang is down-to-earth and honest, who later develops romantic feelings for Ko Tae Hoon.
Love O’Clock is helmed by director Kim Sang Hyeop, who is known for well-loved romantic shows like “True Beauty” and “Extraordinary You.” The writing will be handled by Han Seol Hee and Hong Bo Hee. They previously worked together on the popular series “Business Proposal,” which was praised for its funny and relatable story.
This project is notable for reuniting Shin Hye Sun and Na In Woo, who previously worked together in Mr. Queen in 2020. Their chemistry is one of the aspects that fans are most looking forward to.
Netflix has confirmed production of Love O’Clock, but the official global release date has not yet been announced. The streaming giant announced the 2026 K-content lineup earlier this year, and this project was not part of it. Expectations are that Love O’Clock will premiere in 2027.
