After Taemin, SHINee’s Onew announced his fandom name.
The 34-year-old singer is ready for a fresh start after signing with new agency Griffin Entertainment.
At midnight on June 28, he unveiled the official logo of his fan club, JJINGGU, on social media, marking the opening of membership. The name JJINGGU holds a special meaning, symbolizing the bond between the SHINee leader and his fans, which translates to ‘friend’.
The logo features a rabbit design, representing Onew and his fans, surrounded by a heart that embodies the eternal love and connection they share.
The recruitment period for Onew’s official fan club, JJINGGU, will take place from July 1st to July 28th, and aspiring fans can sign up through the Fromm store page on the fandom platform.
Back in April, he resumed activities after a hiatus of 10 months and attended the SHINee’s 16th anniversary concert with other members.
On the work front, Onew has wrapped up his solo fan meeting ‘GUESS!’ in various cities, including Seoul, Osaka, Yokohama, and Macau, with upcoming stops in Manila on July 4, Kaohsiung on July 13, Singapore on July 21, and Kuala Lumpur on July 27.
