Taemin, the talented vocalist and dancer of SHINee, has finally announced the official fandom name for his solo fans.
After a long wait, the 30-year-old has revealed the special moniker that will unite his devoted supporters around the world.
On May 8, he unveiled the name and logo for the official fandom.
The official fan club name for Taemin is ‘TAEMate’. It combines ‘mate’, signifying Taemin’s close friend, embodying the idea of being his dearest and closest companion.
The Guilty singer has been participating in solo performances at different music festivals and recently revealed a fan club name after leaving SM Entertainment and joining Big Planet Made. This suggests that he will be concentrating on solo projects for the time being.
Along with the fan club name, he announced the recruitment period for TAEMate, which will take place from May 13 to June 2. While details are still under wraps, the agency has promised that exciting moments are ahead, where Taemin will share special experiences with his loyal companions, TAEMate.
On another note, he recently singed with Big Planet Made Entertainment for solo endeavors and will pursue group activities under SM Entertainment.
