In a shocking turn of events, K-pop stars Hyoyeon of Girls’ Generation (SNSD) and Bomi of Apink, along with Indonesian singer Dita Karang, have been detained by authorities in Bali, Indonesia, for filming the reality TV show Pick Me Trip without the necessary permits.

The team from KBS Joy’s show My Package Season 2: Pick Me Trip in Bali found themselves stuck in Bali, where they were filming.

As reported by SPOTV News on April 26, the production crew of KBS Joy’s new entertainment program, Pick Me Trip in Bali, got caught by Balinese authorities for filming without permission.

The cast of Pick Me Trip in Bali arrived in Bali on April 21 with plans to leave on April 25. However, an issue arose when it was discovered that the production team had filmed without the necessary permission.

An official shared with SPOTV News that the cast and crew were unsure about the exact reasons for their detainment, causing frustration due to the lack of communication from the production team. 

Another official expressed embarrassment over the situation and mentioned that clarity might come after the investigations conclude. Efforts are being made to swiftly arrange the return to Korea.
