Son Ye Jin, who became a mother in 2022, recently shared some wonderful news about her donation activities for underprivileged children in the New Year of 2024.
Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin made a generous donation of 150 million won (approximately 114,000 USD) to ASAN Medical Center and Jusarang Community’s Baby Box at the end of the year.
The donation made by Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin will help provide treatment for children and adolescents at ASAN Medical Center. Additionally, it will also support single mother families and children in need of independence through the Baby Box program.
The Crash Landing on You actress expressed that she made the donation as a Christmas gift, aiming to bring warmth to the hearts of children who are facing even more challenging times.
Previously, Ye Jin donated 100 million won (approximately 76,000 USD) to support the prevention and treatment of COVID in low-income families through the Daegu Social Welfare Community Fund. Additionally, she and Hyun Bin also donated 200 million won (about 153,000 USD) to assist victims who lost their homes in forest fires in Uljin and Samcheong.
Son Ye-jin‘s dedication to helping children in difficult circumstances is truly admirable. She consistently volunteers in various ways, such as sponsoring children with incurable diseases and providing scholarships for low-income disabled children.
