Song Hye Kyo and Jeon Yeo Been’s highly anticipated series, “Dark Nuns,” finally has a release date.

On November 4, Distributor NEW announced that the movie “Dark Nuns,” starring renowned actresses Song Hye Kyo and Jeon Yeo Been, will hit theaters on January 24, 2024. The lead actresses will undergo a complete transformation in Director Kwon Hyuk Jae’s latest project.

“Dark Nuns” is a remake of “The Black Priests” (2015), following a group who risk everything to save a boy possessed by an evil spirit through a forbidden ritual.

Song Hye Kyo stars as Sister Yunia, a fiercely determined nun who stops at nothing to defeat evil spirits through ritual practices.

Jeon Yeo Been plays Sister Michaela, a curious and skeptical nun who questions the rituals. Seeing Yuina’s determination to save the boy, she decides to help her. 

Lee Jin Wook portrays Father Paul, a psychiatrist who does not believe in demonic existence and tries to cure the young boy through medical treatment.

Moon Woo Jin takes on the role of Hee-jun, a young boy gripped by an evil spirit.

A chilling overseas poster for “Dark Nuns” has been unveiled, featuring Sisters Junia and Michaela heading somewhere, pushing a possessed, wheelchair-bound boy.

“Dark Nuns,” set for release on January 24 next year, follows the nuns’ bold and forbidden ritual.
