Soyeon, who holds the dual roles of leader and executive producer in (G)I-DLE, recently shared her challenges in distributing lines and parts among the members.
(G)I-DLE is making an appearance on JTBC’s Knowing Bros on February 3. They’re bringing an episode full of excitement and spice, showcasing their growth as a group in their 7th year.
On the show, Soyeon opened up about her challenges as a producer, mentioning, “It is difficult to distribute parts because I always want to make changes.”
In line with that, Minnie, who has always handled the introductory part of (G)I-DLE’s songs, expressed her sadness, sharing that she felt disappointed about not being able to take on the introductory part of their new song, Super Lady.
When the other members shared their own concerns about the part distribution for the new song, the MCs asked Soyeon, “Does this mean the member who expressed dissatisfaction won’t have a part in the next song?” Soyeon cleverly responded, “I’ll check,” which brought laughter to everyone.
Soyeon of (G)I-DLE, who has also contributed as a songwriter, was promoted to a full member of KOMCA.
