The worlds of Stranger Things and K-pop came together in a fun and unexpected way in London.
Jamie Campbell Bower, best known for his role as Vecna in Stranger Things, met Felix from Stray Kids backstage at one of the group’s London concerts.
On December 22, Bower shared the story during a WIRED autocomplete interview, where he answered popular fan questions. While answering the fans’ most-searched questions, he was asked, “Jamie Campbell Bower Felix Stray Kids.” He explained that meeting the K-pop star all started with his cousin. She is a big Stray Kids fan, so he gave her money last Christmas to buy tickets to their concert.
Things fell into place when Jamie Campbell Bower realized that someone close to him, the godmother of his godson, had a personal connection to Felix and the group. He reached out to her to see if something special could be arranged for his cousin. Not long after, He got a backstage invite at Stray Kids’ July 19, 2025, show in London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium through a friend’s connection.
The 37-year-old English actor ended up attending the concert with his cousin, and they were invited backstage. That’s where he met Felix in person. He described Felix as “really sweet, really nice, and very pretty.”
Jamie also shared a photo from the London concert on his social media, and it quickly spread across platforms like Threads and Facebook. They shared a black-and-white photo showing Bower giving a thumbs-up while Felix stood beside him in a sparkly jacket, his long blonde hair flowing. Both posted the image online, with Felix playfully thanking “Vecna.”
The photo went viral among both Stray Kids fans and Stranger Things viewers. Many commented on how great they looked together, while others joked about the idea of a future collaboration.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids released their 3rd special album, Do It, last month, which topped the Billboard 200 chart. On the other hand, Jamie Campbell Bower will be seen in the Stranger Things season 5 volume 2 on Christmas Day followed by the finale on December 31.
