Suzy and Lee Jin Uk Wrap Filming For Romance Movie

Suzy and Lee Jin Uk’s recent film project, “7 a.m. Breakfast Meeting for the Heartbroken”, has completed production. The production company confirmed the filming wrapped last month. The film, featuring a star-studded cast, is co-produced by Wizwix Studio and Suzy’s agency Management SOOP.

On April 7, the production company announced, “The film ‘7 a.m. Breakfast Meeting for the Heartbroken’, wrapped up filming last month.”

It is an adaptation of the novel of the same name, telling the story of two individuals navigating the pain of heartbreak. Production began in December and wrapped up last month. The film features Suzy as Sa Gang, a flight attendant, who engages in a forbidden romance with Captain Jeong Su (played by Yoo Ji Tae).

Suzy shared her thoughts, “I was happy to be able to work with a good director and actors,” and added, “The process of adapting a novel that I had read and enjoyed was a unique experience.” 

She then expressed his affection for the character, saying, “Just as I found solace in playing Sagang, I hope that the audience will also receive warm comfort through this film.”

Lee Jin Uk plays Ji Hoon, a consultant instructor who breaks up with his long-term girlfriend, Teacher Hyun-jung (Geum Sae Rok).

He expressed a mix of emotions about the completion of filming, saying, “I’m happy, but also feel a great sense of longing. I was able to gain positive energy from this project.” Lee added, “I tried to convey the emotions of parting while playing Ji Hoon, and I hope that the audience will receive warm empathy and comfort from it.”

Director Lim Seon Ae also shared her thoughts on the wrap-up, saying, “We’ve completed filming thanks to the efforts of our staff and actors. We will continue to work hard on the remaining post-production work.”

The leading cast Suzy and Lee Jin Uk have exciting projects lined up. Suzy will star in “Delusion” with Kim Seon Ho and “Genie, Make a Wish” with Kim Won Bin. On the other hand, Lee Jin Uk will appear in “Squid Game” season 3 and “Esquire”.

Meanwhile, “7 a.m. Breakfast Meeting for the Heartbroken” is set to hit theaters in the second half of the year.
