On December 26, a broadcaster reported that an individual shared their experience on social media and online communities regarding their unsuccessful attempt to enter the Gayo Daejeon event held the previous afternoon. They were informed by a staff member that their ticket was counterfeit, resulting in their inability to gain entry.
An SBS official commented, stating that upon discovering the issues concerning counterfeit tickets during the event, they promptly requested a police investigation. They also mentioned that the precise extent of the damage caused by these counterfeit tickets is currently being assessed.
There were not only counterfeit tickets but also several accidents at the event. People on online communities and social media expressed their disappointment about these incidents.
Fans witnessed a concerning moment at the event when NCT member Ten fell down the lift while transitioning from the edge of the stage to the center. However, the next morning, Ten reassured his fans by posting on a platform to communicate with them, stating that he was okay. He kindly reassured everyone around him, saying, “Don’t worry.”
While ITZY was performing, fans noticed a menu popping up when right-clicking on the computer operating system displayed on the electronic signboard.
Then, during ZEROBASEONE‘s performance, there was an audio incident where certain parts were played repeatedly. And to top it off, when Stray Kids came on stage, their name was misspelled as “Stary Kids.”
These incidents with counterfeit tickets, technical mishaps, and misspellings definitely raise concerns about the overall organization and preparation for the event.
