THE BOYZ, STAYC, and NiziU were among the first artists announced for the 1st Asia Star Entertainer Awards lineup.
On February 5, the organizing committee of the 1st ASIA STAR ENTERTAINER AWARDS (ASEA) made an exciting announcement. They confirmed that THE BOYZ, STAYC, and NiziU will be appearing at ASEA 2024 on April 10th at K-Arena Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan.
Since their debut in 2017, THE BOYZ has been making waves in the K-pop scene. They’ve been recognized with numerous Rookie of the Year awards and even took home the top prize on Mnet’s ‘Road to Kingdom’. In 2023, their album sales exceeded an impressive 1.8 million copies.
STAYC, on the other hand, made their debut in 2020 and quickly gained popularity in the fresh teen genre. With their strong vocals, captivating stage presence, and catchy songs, they’ve been breaking records and achieving new milestones.
NiziU is a nine-member girl group formed by JYP Entertainment as a special project in Japan. They received a lot of love and support right after their debut in Japan, and they officially made their debut in Korea in October 2023.
Their debut album even reached an impressive 7th place on the Initial Chodong rankings among all K-pop girl group debut albums.
K-Arena, where ASEA 2024 will take place, opened its doors in September 2023. It’s a massive concert hall with a whopping capacity of 20,000 seats, making it the largest music-dedicated venue in the world. Many talented artists, including K-pop stars, have already graced its stage.
To keep everyone excited, ASEA 2024 will be announcing the lineup, award categories, and judging criteria through their official website starting on February 5.
