A new historical fantasy Kdrama is on the way!

Starring BTOB’s Yook Sungjae, WJSN’s Bona, and Kim Ji Hoon, ‘The Haunted Palace’ is coming to SBS in a couple of weeks. The first teasers, release date, and script reading session have already been revealed.

The upcoming Kdrama “The Haunted Palace” is a follow-up to the popular K-drama “Buried Hearts,” which is set to conclude on April 12.

‘The Haunted Palace’ Plot

‘The Haunted Palace’ is a fantasy romantic comedy that follows Yeo Ri (Bona), a shaman who rejects her fate as a psychic, and an imoogi trapped in the body of Yeo Ri’s former love, Yoon Gab (Yook Sungjae). They become entangled in a battle with an eight-faced ghost seeking revenge against the royal family.

“The Haunted Palace” is directed by director Yoon Sung Shik, who has previously worked on “Mr. Queen”, “Hwarang”, “Bridal Mask”, “Cleaning Up”, and more. The script is penned by Yoon Soo Jung (“Cheer Up!”, “The Fugitive of Joseon”).

“The Haunted Palace” Release Date

The SBS drama “The Haunted Palace” is set to premiere on Friday, April 18 at 9:50 PM, airing on Fridays and Saturdays. The 16-episode drama will follow “Buried Hearts” and conclude on June 7, 2025.
