After her starring role in the gripping SBS drama “The Judge From Hell”, Park Shin Hye is set to enter the comedy world with her latest project.
Although there have not been any official announcements, the 35-year-old actress is considering her next work.
As per an exclusive report by IZE on March 10, Park Shin Hye is set to take on the role of a high-powered securities supervisor in her upcoming project, ‘Miss Undercover Boss’.
Notably, the Kdrama actress has not officially signed a contract. However, insiders confirm that she has verbally agreed to join the cast and is expected to finalize the contract soon.
‘Miss Undercover Boss’ is a retro office comedy series. The show follows Sammo Hung, a 35-year-old securities supervisor who goes undercover as a 20-year-old at a securities firm. The company is suspected of irregular financial activities and shady dealings.
Park Shin Hye plays a high-powered financial supervisor who takes on a surprising new role at a securities firm. Overnight, she transforms into a high school graduate handling menial jobs.
As she navigates this new role, she will use her expertise to take down financial criminals.
Park previously appeared in the drama ‘The Judge from Hell’ along with Kim Jae Young and received the Director’s Award at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards. In the drama, she played Kang Bit Na, an elite judge who is also a demon. As a demon, she punished individuals who caused harm to others and sent them to hell.
After making her acting debut in 2003, Park Shin Hye has appeared in many iconic Kdramas such as ‘The Heirs’, ‘Pinocchio’, ‘Doctors’, and ‘Doctor Slump’.
‘Miss Undercover Boss’ is directed by Park Seon Ho, known for ‘Business Proposal’ and ‘Brewing Love’. The script is written by Moon Hyun Kyung with Celltrion in charge of production. The drama will be broadcast on tvN in the first half of 2026.
