“The Seasons – Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile” to Premiere on THIS Date

Park Bo Gum

Park Bo Gum is set to begin his journey as the new host of “The Seasons” next month. The Kdrama actor will explore a new side of his talents as an MC of a music talk show.

KBS-2TV’s ‘The Seasons’ is a late-night music program featuring a seasonal format, which kicked off with ‘Jay Park’s Drive’ in February 2023.

“The Seasons” has featured a diverse lineup of hosts since its debut with “Jay Park’s Drive”. Each host, including Choi Jung Hoon, AKMU, Lee Hyo Ri, Zico, and Lee Young Ji, has brought their own unique personality to the show.

The 7th season of the show features Park Bo Gum as its host, with a title that reflects his musical side: “Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile”. The term “Cantabile” is a musical expression meaning “song-like” or “as if singing”, personally chosen by the 31-year-old actor.

“The Season – Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile” is set to premiere on KBS-2TV on March 14 at 10 PM.

The new installment also references the 2014 KBS drama “Naeil’s Cantabile”. It reflects Park’s musical interests and he has also participated in several OSTs.

The “Wonderland” actor has previously flaunted his musical talents on “Yu Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook” and “The Seasons – Zico’s Artist”. In addition, his piano and dance skills were on full display in the latest teaser for the new season.

Park Bo Gum has established himself as a skilled host through his work on “Music Bank”, “Baeksang Arts Awards”, and “MAMA Awards“. Now, he is set to host his first full-fledged music program.

On another note, Park Bo Gum’s next project is a Netflix original “When Life Gives You Tangerines”, a drama set in 1950s Jeju, South Korea. He will play Gwan Sik, a kind-hearted young man who falls for a free-spirited girl named Ae Sun.
