“True Beauty” co-stars Cha Eunwoo and Moon Ga Young will jointly host the 39th Golden Disc Awards together with Sung Si Kyung.
On November 1, the officials announced the hosting trio for the award ceremony next year including Cha Eunwoo, Moon Ga Young, and Sung Si Kyung. They will be co-hosts for both days of the event.
Cha Eunwoo has been confirmed to host for the second consecutive year. He is set to reprise his role as host following his debut as an MC at the 38th Golden Disc Awards.
He was admired not only for his smooth hosting style but special stage with Sung Si Kyung.
Moon Ga Young has been announced as the newest addition to the hosting lineup. Notably, her reunion with Cha Eunwoo, her co-star from tvN’s ‘True Beauty’, has fans eagerly anticipating their on-stage chemistry.
tvN drama “True Beauty” premiered on December 9, 2020. The series stars Moon Ga Young and Cha Eunwoo and explores themes of self-acceptance, high school life, and societal beauty standards.
Previously, they reunited in July to support co-star Im Se Mi’s play “Flowers, Stars Pass By.”
Meanwhile, the 39th Golden Disc Awards will take place on January 4-5, 2025, at Japan’s Fukuoka PayPay Dome. The ceremony will be divided into two days: January 4 will honor digital music, while January 5 will recognize outstanding albums.
Nominees for each category will be announced on December 2 through the official website and social media channels. The performance lineup will follow in early December.
