TWICE’s Dahyun to Make Big-Screen Debut in Independent Feature Film ‘Sprint’

After swooning fans with her musical talents as a member of TWICE, Dahyun is ready to make her big-screen debut.

On May 2, a Korean media outlet, Sports Donga reported that the 25-year-old K-pop idol is set to star in independent feature sport film, Sprint.

Shortly after the news broke out, JYP Entertainment confirmed that she has accepted the offer to star in the upcoming film, Sprint.

Fans are excited for Dahyun to break into acting and exploring a new creative avenue outside of music.

With this, she becomes the first member of the group to cross over into the acting world.

As stated earlier, she will be marking her first foray into acting with sports drama film, Sprint, directed by Lee Seung Hoon.

The movie is slated to start production between May and mid-June. However her specific role remains under wraps for now. It is not revealed whether she’ll play the lead or a supporting role.

On another note, TWICE is gearing up to release 5th Japanese album, DIVE.
