TWICE’s Sana Shares Being Anxious Over Group’s Future Before Contract Renewal

TWICE Sana

TWICE means a lot to Sana and she poured her heart out about her love for the group and members at the historic Nissan Stadium Concert.

The 27-year-old singer opened up about her inner fears before they renewed their contract with JYP Entertainment in July 2022.

On July 28, TWICE made history as first international female artists to perform at Nissan Stadium in Japan.

At the concert, Sana broke down, sharing her fears and anxiety over the group’s future, saying, “At Tokyo Dome two years ago, I cried a lot. This was before contract renewal, I kept thinking about whether TWICE could still be standing on this stage as nine of us. I cried a lot, but I did not want to worry ONCE so I said those were happy tears, but really everyone was crying together in the resting room.”

She felt grateful and blessed to perform at Nissan Stadium with members and meet many fans.

When Nayeon appeared on Sana’s Fridge Interview, Sana dished on contract renewal saying, “Honestly I think our contract renewal was a miracle, for all 9 of us to come back together, it felt like a miracle. If TWICE weren’t whole and some members left, I’d cry every night for years.

TWICE members, who are celebrating their 9th debut anniversary, extended their contracts ahead of the expiration date. In addition, all members of Stray Kids renewed their contract with JYP Entertainment this month.
