TWICE’s Tzuyu to Debut as a Soloist with Mini Album ‘abouTZU’ [VIDEO]

TWICE members are more active this year than ever.

After Jihyo and Nayeon, the youngest member of the group Tzuyu is making a solo debut after nearly 9 years since joining the industry.

On August 2 at midnight, JYP Entertainment dropped the opening trailer for Tzuyu’s debut mini-album, aboutTZU.

The opening trailer looks quite intriguing and somewhat haunting and has fans speculating about the concept of the upcoming album.

The 25-year-old Taiwanese singer has not limited discography as a soloist. She previously released a cover of Christmas Without You by Ava Max and Taylor Swift’s Me! as part of the Melody Project Series.

While group activities were her focus so far, the opening trailer of the upcoming album, abouTZU, is promising an incredible solo release.

TWICE members are making a solo debut and comeback, with Jihyo releasing her first EP, ZONE on August 18, 2023, and Nayeon making her first comeback with 2nd EP, NA on June 14.

Now that the group has concluded their 5th world tour, fans can look forward to Tzuyu solo debut and MISAMO’s comeback in October.

Lastly, the release date of abouTZU has not been revealed by JYP Entertainment yet, however, it is likely to be released this month.
