TXT is set to lend their voices to the original soundtrack (OST) of the long-awaited medical drama “Resident Playbook”.
As reported by SPOTV News on March 6, the 5-member K-pop boy band will sing the OST for the new tvN drama “Resident Playbook”.
According to reports, TXT is set to contribute to the medical drama with a specially crafted OST. The group has completed a high-energy soundtrack that perfectly complements the drama’s narrative. It revolves around the story of young and aspiring doctors.
TXT members have been involved in various drama OSTs, including “Melo Movie”, “Cinderella at 2AM”, “Doom At Your Service”, and “Live On”.
It is a highly-anticipated spin-off of the hit series “Hospital Playlist”. The medical drama is finally set to premiere in April after multiple delays. This emotional journey follows a group of residents as they strive to become compassionate and skilled doctors. After a lengthy delay due to the doctors’ strike, the wait is almost over.
The upcoming drama is set to take viewers into the lives of obstetrics and gynecology residents at Jongno Yulje Hospital, a branch of the familiar Yulje Hospital from “Hospital Playlist”. The talented cast features Go Yoon Jung, Shin Shi Ah, Han Ye Ji, and Kang Yoo Seok.
The script for “Resident Playbook” will be written by Kim Song Hee, who previously assisted on “Reply 1988” and “Hospital Playlist”. Director Lee Min Soo, who has worked on one-act plays “Stain” and “Meet in an Unfamiliar Season”, will oversee the direction.
