TXT's Yeonjun in a teaser for his solo mixtape 'GGUM'

Yeonjun of Tomorrow X Together is preparing to make his official solo debut this November with his first full album. As reported by The Fact on Wednesday, the singer is currently in the final stages of recording and is also filming a music video overseas.

This release will mark his first multi-track project since his debut with TXT in March 2019. While he unveiled his solo mixtape GGUM in September 2024, this will be the first time he presents a complete album under his own name. As per reports, Yeonjun has taken an active role in developing his upcoming music, participating in everything from conceptual planning to production.

Often described as an “all-rounder,” the 25-year-old K-pop star is recognized for his versatility across vocals, rap, dance, and songwriting. Over the years, he has worked on multiple TXT albums and currently holds credits for more than 30 songs with the Korea Music Copyright Association.

His skills extend to performance design as well, having participated in the choreography of TXT’s previous title track Beautiful Stranger.

expectations for his upcoming release continue to rise following the response to GGUM, which reflected Yeonjun’s personal artistry. GGUM sold over 116K copies in the first week. Fans are now guessing what narrative and sounds he will bring to his long-awaited first solo album.

The update also comes after TXT released their fourth full album, The Star Chapter: TOGETHER, in July 2025. Shortly after, the group opened their fourth world tour with consecutive sold-out performances at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome on July 22 and 23, where they officially announced contract renewals with BIGHIT MUSIC. Yeonjun’s solo project will be the first release since that announcement.

Before the album’s release, he will join his group on tour. TXT is scheduled to begin the U.S. leg in San Jose on September 9, followed by shows in six more American cities and three in Japan. Once the tour concludes, Yeonjun will shift focus toward his solo promotions.
