It looks like K-pop stars are entering the military one by one, with news of Korean artists announcing their military enlistment dates almost daily.
Previously, Taeyong from NCT, Hyuk from VIXX, and Song Kang shared their military enlistment plans, whereas S.Coups from SEVENTEEN disclosed his exemption from military service.
Another K-pop idol Sungkook from VANNER announced his military enlistment date on March 23.
His agency, KLAP Entertainment made the announcement saying, “We would like to offer our deep thanks to the fans who always love VANNER as we make an announcement regarding our artist VANNER Sungkook’s enlistment.”
The agency added that he will be carrying out his military duty as an active-duty soldier in the army after undergoing basic training, starting Tuesday, May 7.
KLAP Entertainment shared that they are not going to hold any official event to avoid safety-related incidents. He will be entering the training center ‘privately.’
Moreover, he will carry out all the scheduled activities including VANNER’s domestic concert up until his enlistment.
