G-Dragon for Vogue Korea

G-Dragon is “very single” BTW!

The BIGBANG leader made his comeback with his third solo album “Übermensch”, his first full-length album in 11 years since “COUP D’ETAT” in 2013. Since the album’s release on February 25, he has been actively promoting the album on music shows and web entertainment programs.

On February 28, the second part of Lee Yong Jin’s “Yongtaro” episode with G-Dragon was posted on the YouTube channel. The 1st episode sort of ended on a cliffhanger when he was about to reveal his ideal type.

In the final part, G-Dragon candidly talked about love and what he looks for in a partner. He expressed, “Style? I am not sure if I have a specific type. People around me say I do, but I don’t see it. From my perspective, everyone I have been with was different.”

The host Lee Yong Jin asked if he cares about the physical features or height, to which, the 36-year-old rapper replied, “If I like them, then I just like them. These days, though, everyone takes care of themselves so well.”

He added, “So rather than specific looks, it’s more about their vibe. That unique energy they carry, their presence. I think I like people who have something different about them.”

G-Dragon was also quite eager to know if he would get a girlfriend this year. Interestingly, the tarot reading predicted that there could be two or even more potential romantic interests.

Lee Yong Jin revealed that he has an 80% to 90% chance of finding a girlfriend this year. The “POWER” rapper also playfully asked about when he would get a girlfriend. The tarot reading predicted that it would be after “work settles down”.

He responded, “That’s a bit far off.” So, it is likely that he will find a girlfriend in the second half of the year when his concert tour “Übermensch” ends. G-Dragon revealed that his tour will wrap up “around October”.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon will kick off his world tour “Übermensch” on March 29-30, with two shows in Korea. The tickets for the show were sold out within 16.5 minutes after going on sale, selling out 64,000 seats in record time.
