The finale ranked first in its time slot, Saturday miniseries, and weekly miniseries with 11.9% nationwide, 11.3% in metropolitan areas, and a 14.7% peak.
On November 5, director Park Jin Pyo spilled the details about season 2 of “The Judge From Hell” in an interview with OSEN.
He shared his thoughts on the plans and direction for Season 2, stating, “It seems many viewers are showing interest in Season 2 due to the intriguing setup of the devil possessing the judge to punish sinners (murderers) and the charming characters that have captured their hearts.”
Director Park added, “I am simply grateful that we’ve successfully concluded one series and received so much love. However, it’s still too early to discuss Season 2, and I need a bit more time to think and consider it.”
In the action-packed fantasy thriller “The Judge From Hell,” a beautiful and ruthless demon judge, Kang Bit Na (Park Shin Hye), meets her match in Han Da On (Kim Jae Young), a brilliant detective with a hidden past.
