WINNER’s Mino has lent his expertise to BABYMONSTER’s highly-anticipated new album.
The 31-year-old rapper, serving in the military as a social service worker, is set to be discharged on December 23.
As exclusively reported by Sports Chosun on October 7, he has shown his support for junior group BABYMONSTER by participating in their new album’s production.
Notably, Mino had completed the music prior to his military service and generously offered it to BABYMONSTER.
Since debuting with WINNER in August 2014, he has participated in the writing and composition of many of his and other members’ solo songs. He wrote and composed I’M HIM, Finacé, Run Away, and more.
YG Entertainment is calling their debut studio album a “large-scale project.” With Song Mino’s help, fans expect a historic comeback that will showcase the group’s growth and talent.
As per the Target website, BABYMONSTER’s first full-length album is titled DRIP, contains 9 tracks and will be released on November 1.
Over the past four months, BABYMONSTER has achieved impressive milestones. They completed a 12-show fan meeting tour across 7 Asian cities and performed at Japan’s prestigious Summer Sonic 2024 festival.
In addition, they recently guest-starred at 2NE1’s concerts in Seoul, which took place on October 4-6.
With their exceptional live skills, anticipation builds for their upcoming album, produced in collaboration with Song Mino. BABYMONSTER is currently finalizing their new album, targeting a fall release.
