Kep1er member Xiaoting is gearing up for her return to domestic K-pop activities. Following the expiration of her contract with her Chinese agency, the 25-year-old K-pop idol has returned to Korea to rejoin her group and focus on promotions.
On January 10, Kep1er’s agencies WakeOne and KLAP Entertainment announced, “Xiaoting’s exclusive contract with her Chinese agency has recently expired. She has been actively discussing her future activities with WakeOne and KLAP Entertainment, Kep1er’s agencies. With her strong will and the agency’s full support, Xiaoting will be rejoining Kep1er as a member soon.”
WakeOne and KLAP Entertainment will provide the Chinese K-pop star with support to facilitate her individual activities in China and group activities with Kep1er.
She will join the full Kep1er lineup for the ‘2024 Super Sound Festival-Macau’ at The Venetian Arena on January 18. In addition, she will continue to engage with Chinese fans through future activities.
Her contract with the Chinese agency TOPCLASS Entertainment expired on January 1. She updated fans through a Weibo post while wishing them a Happy New Year.
It was previously reported that she was in talks with Kep1er’s agencies to manage her solo activities. Now that the negotiations are successful, she can join the group and carry out solo activities without a hassle.
In related news, Kep1er has announced its ‘2025 Kep1er FAN CON TOUR BEYOND THE STAR in SEOUL’, scheduled for February 15th and 16th at Sungshin Women’s University in Seoul. This marks the beginning of the group’s first global fan concert tour.
