YG Entertainment Reveals Plans for 2025: BLACKPINK’s Comeback and World Tour, 2NE1 Concert, New Group Debut [VIDEO]

YG Entertainment has revealed its 2025 plans, featuring a packed lineup of K-pop highlights: BLACKPINK’s comeback and world tour, a 2NE1 reunion concert, and the debut of a new group.

On July 22 at midnight, Yang Hyun Suk shared plans for next year in an announcement video on YG Entertainment’s YouTube channel.

He gave updates about the activities of the artists under the agency including BLACKPINK, AKMU, BABYMONSTER, 2NE1, TREASURE, and more.

BLACKPINK Comeback & World Tour

In answer to a question related to YG’s next year plans, he shared that there are no concrete plans yet. However, he hinted that a lot of YG artists will be active next year, including BLACKPINK.

Yang Hyun Suk shared, “There will be a highly-anticipated comeback from BLACKPINK” and continued, “It will also be the year BLACKPINK starts their world tour.”

BABYMONSTER & TREASURE

In a previous announcement, Yang shared that BABYMONSTER will release their first full-length album this fall.

He made an exciting new announcement about TREASURE and BABYMONSTER, stating, “TREASURE and BABYMONSTER will start their world tour.”

2NE1 Concert

Yang Hyun Suk admitted receiving a request from 2NE1 members about holding a concert to celebrate their 15th debut anniversary. He shared, “We caught up and happily discussed making it [concert] happen within this year.”

About the schedule of the 2NE1 concert, he revealed that the first concert will be held in Seoul in early October followed by performances in Osaka and Tokyo in November and December. More stops will be added and the tour will continue until next year.

Hyun Suk revealed that the performance venues are booked and the staff is working hard to create a successful show.

New Group Debut

He also hinted at the debut of the new group, however did not reveal if it would be a boy or a girl group, “Our so-called NEXT MONSTER is also currently waiting in the wings, So I would like to introduce them to fans as well.”

Lastly, he shared that the label is working hard to ensure that YG artists will be active next year and meet fans worldwide. He also hinted at the activities of AKMU and WINNER’s Yoon and Mino discharging from the military by the end of the year.
