A change is coming to the ‘When The Phone Rings’ schedule.

MBC has been reported not to air two episodes as scheduled in December. The drama, starring Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin, premiered on November 22.

With just two episodes in, “When The Phone Rings” has already captivated viewers thanks to the undeniable chemistry between the leads.

MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “When The Phone Rings” will be canceling two episodes, scheduled to air on December 14 and 20, according to a recent SPOTV News report on November 28.

This break will allow for a short pause in the show’s unconventional storyline. MBC has announced special programming to fill the hiatus. On December 14, a documentary celebrating Nobel laureate Han Kang will air, while December 20 will feature a recap episode covering the first half of the story, spanning episodes 1-7.

The drama is set to run for 12 episodes, with its finale airing on December 28.

“When The Phone Rings” is a drama about a power couple, Paik Sa Eon (Yoo Yeon Seok) and Hong Hee Joo (Chae Soo Bin). Paik Sa Eon is a high-flying presidential spokesman from a wealthy family, while Hong Hee Joo is the mute daughter of a newspaper owner who works as a sign language interpreter.

The couple married three years ago for convenience, but their relationship is loveless. They pretend to be happy, but in reality, they don’t communicate or spend time together. Everything changes when Hong Hee Joo is kidnapped by an unknown person.

Meanwhile, catch ‘When The Phone Rings’ every Friday and Saturday, at 9:50 PM.
