‘Your Playlist is About to be Full’ – BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Spills Solo Music Plans

BLACKPINK Jisoo Instagram Update

After a slow start, 2024 is shaping up nicely for BLINKs, thanks to BLACKPINK members’ solo releases.

In the coming months, BLACKPINK members Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will drop their debut studio albums. On the other hand, details about Jisoo’s upcoming music release remain under wraps.

It is expected that the 29-year-old K-pop singer will release an album in early 2025. She has a packed 2025 schedule with three acting projects and a solo comeback after nearly two years.

On October 10, Jisoo shared new photos on Instagram and Bubble, showing off her new hair color. In addition, she did not forget to spoil her music plans for fans who have been waiting for an update for quite a while now.

The “Flower” singer shared her plans and asked fans to wait patiently, “Just wait… I will also come out with something that’ll make you happy and worth your while.”

She added, “Your playlist is about to be full of songs, we are about to drop a lot of solo songs and we are about to come back as a group as well.”

Jisoo wrapped up filming the drama “Newtopia” and the movie “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” and is about to begin working on her third drama “Monthly Boyfriend.”

Also starring Seo In Guk, the filming for the drama is set to begin in mid-October and wrap in mid-April 2025.

Since the last two months are going to be pretty packed for her, it is expected that she will release new music early next year.

That being said, Jisoo has a packed schedule in 2025 as well with drama filming, a potential solo release, and a group comeback as well as a world tour.

After not renewing individual contracts with YG Entertainment, Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa are pursuing activities under personal labels. Rosé has signed a management contract with THE BLACK LABEL and is set to release the album “rosie” after signing a solo deal with Atlantic Records.

BLACKPINK members will release new group music in 2025 and embark on a world tour.
