Zion.T Parts Ways with THE BLACK LABEL

While K-pop superstar Rosé joined THE BLACK LABEL last month, another one of its artists Zion.T decided to go separate ways.

On July 1, THE BLACK LABEL confirmed to Ten Asia that his contract expired and he has decided not to renew it.

THE BLACK LABEL, founded by producer Teddy, manages popular artists including Rosé, Park Bo Gum, Jeon Somi, BIGBANG’s Taeyang, Vince, Bryan Chase, Lee Jong Won, Ella Gross, and more.

On August 22, 2022, the 35-year-old rapper established his personal record label, STANDARD FRIENDS. It is reported that he will be promoting his music and managing his solo endeavors through STANDARD FRIENDS.

The record label founded by Zion.T manages Slom, Fisherman, Giriboy, and Wonstein.

He debuted with a single Click Me in April 2011 followed by the release of his first album Red Light in April 2013. He has released multiple EPs and singles so far including Mirrorball, OO, ZZZ, Miss Kim, and more.

On another note, he celebrated his 12th debut anniversary with the release of his third full-length album, Zip, in December 2023. He made headlines in April 2024 by publicly confirming his relationship with TWICE’s Chaeyoung.
