The 2024 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA Awards) has officially kicked off, honoring the best in K-pop and Asian music.
The K-pop’s most prestigious award ceremony was held in LA, USA, and later in Osaka, Japan today (November 22). The final day event will be held on November 23, with G-Dragon, BIGBANG, Byeon Woo Seok, and more taking the stage tomorrow.
TWS, ILLIT, RIIZE, and J.Y. Park were announced winners in the US ceremony.
As for Chapter 1 Japan, a star-studded lineup of artists took home coveted awards, including BTS members V Jungkook, RM, Jimin, TXT, IVE, BOYNEXTDOOR, Rosé, and many more.
Notably, Jimin made history by joining G-Dragon, Taeyang, PST, and Cho Yong Pil as the only solo artists to win a Daesang (Grand Prize). MAMA Awards Winners for more categories will be announced tomorrow.
