The 2025 MBC Drama Awards took place on December 30 at the MBC Media Center in Seoul.
Broadcaster Kim Sung Joo and actress Lee Sun Bin hosted the ceremony, which celebrated the network’s most memorable drama achievements of the year.
A star-studded lineup of presenters and a special performance by legendary rock band Jaurim added to the excitement. The series Moon River, starring Kang Tae Oh and Kim Sejeong, emerged as the biggest winner of the evening.
Actor Seo Kang Joon won the Grand Prize (Daesang) for his performance in Undercover High School. In the Top Excellence category, Lee Se Young and Kang Tae Oh received awards.
In addition, MBC Drama Award winners, including Kim Sejeong, Na In Woo, Kim Nam Hee, Kim Shin Rok, Lee Chae Min, and Lee Shin Young, won awards.
The ceremony also looked toward the future. Presenter IU appeared alongside co-star Byeon Woo Seok to introduce their upcoming 2026 MBC drama Perfect Crown.
