SM Entertainment celebrated its three decades in the industry with a special tour, SMTOWN LIVE 2025: The Culture, The Future. This year’s edition kicked off with a grand concert in Seoul, followed by stops in Mexico City, LA, and London. The 30th-anniversary tour will conclude its months-long run with the final two shows in Tokyo next month.
Like all previous concerts, major SM Entertainment artists will participate in the 2025 SMTOWN LIVE in Tokyo. aespa, WayV, NCT, RIIZE, nævis, Red Velvet, Super Junior, and more will perform at the event. Unfortunately, legendary SM artist BoA will not perform at the show due to urgent knee surgery.
SMTOWN LIVE Tokyo Dates
SMTOWN LIVE will take place over two days at the iconic Tokyo Dome. Fans can catch their favorite SM artists on Saturday, August 9, 2025, with doors opening at 3:00 p.m. and the show starting at 5:00 p.m.
The second day, Sunday, August 10, 2025, will open earlier at 1:00 p.m. with the performance beginning at 3:00 p.m. Please note that these times are subject to change, so fans should stay updated closer to the event.

As always with SMTOWN, the lineup is subject to change without notice, so fans should watch for official updates. Previously, many SM artists did not participate in overseas shows due to visa or scheduling conflicts.
Ticket Prices and Details
For general admission, all seats are reserved and priced at ¥16,800 per ticket (tax included), with an additional ¥1,000 handling fee per ticket. Each attendee will also receive a penlight as a special gift. Guests aged three and older need a paid ticket, and non-members can join as companions.
For fans wanting an upgraded experience, Premium Seats are available at ¥19,800, which includes the general ticket price plus an upgrade fee. Premium seats come with exclusive benefits like a priority entry lane and guaranteed front-of-arena seating.
To get a Premium Seat, fans must first purchase a standard ticket and then apply for the upgrade lottery. If selected, they pay the upgrade fee. Note that both tickets (if purchasing two) must be upgraded together.
Live Streaming Information
For fans unable to attend in person, SM Entertainment has announced live streaming options for select concerts. While the Tokyo show’s streaming details are yet to be confirmed, past SMTOWN LIVE events were broadcast via:
