After the MAMA Awards, another big year-end K-pop award ceremony has announced its date and venue.
Hosted by The Fact and organized by Fan N Star and The Square ENM, the highly anticipated 2025 The Fact Music Awards (TMA) will be held on September 20, 2025, in Macao. This announcement was officially made by the TMA organizing committee on Friday, May 30.
The decision to host the event in Macao follows last year’s ceremony in Osaka, Japan. This marks another instance of the TMA being held outside of South Korea.
The Fact Music Awards is a global music festival that celebrates K-pop artists and their fans worldwide. It first launched in April 2019, making this year its eighth iteration.
The Fact Music Awards has consistently featured high-quality performances from popular artists, both from Korea and internationally. Last year, the event was held overseas for the first time, marking the 10th anniversary of The Fact’s establishment.
Now a premier K-pop awards ceremony, TMA 2025 will head to Macao this year to engage with its global audience. Staged in Macao, a city known for blending Eastern and Western cultures, this year’s event is predicted to be a uniquely grand and impressive awards ceremony.
Last year, aespa, NewJeans, ITZY, KISS OF LIFE, NCT WISH, NiziU, TWS, and more performed at the award ceremony. aespa won the Daesang (Grand Prize), whereas aespa, NewJeans, ITZY, TWS, NiziU, and Kim Jaejoong shared the Artist of the Year Award.
The ceremony, which was spread over two days in 2024, will be a single-day event this year.
Details for the 2025 The Fact Music Awards will be released progressively on the official website at a later date.
